FAQs

'How much bunting do I need?'
To reduce the risk of over-ordering, if practicable we suggest you try and measure the display area. If you are hiring a venue or
marquee the manager or supplier should be able to provide you with the dimensions of the space available.
Note: Although we prefer to work with metric measurements we are more than happy to receive yours in ‘good old’ feet and inches.

'How much do I add for ‘swagging?'
To achieve a gentle drape we recommend you add an extra 10% to the actual length you require.

'Can I have bunting made to order’?
Yes, you certainly can - we have 100s of fabrics to choose from and so are able to create the perfect bunting for your venue, event or location.

'Can my bunting be personalised?'
That’s another ‘yes’ - we can add names, wording, numbers and simple shapes (such as hearts and stars).

'Are you able to send me fabric samples?'
That’s also not a problem – simply click on ‘fabric samples’, let us know the fabric you are interested in and tell us where to send it. (There will be a small charge to cover postage and packing.)

'How long will it take for my bunting to arrive?'
All our bunting is made to order. However, because we have been doing this for quite a while now (!) our team can normally have your order made up and dispatched within 3 working days. We may take slightly longer during our busiest period (summer in the UK), if your bunting is bespoke – or you need a lot of it!

'Can you cater for urgent orders?'
If your bunting is needed by a specific date we will do our best to oblige.
To help us get it to you in time you would need to pay for Next Day Special Delivery (UK) or International Tracked (outside the UK) – or a similar service.

'How do I hang the bunting?'
Your bunting will arrive ready to hang - each length has a loop at each end.

Important: Do please ensure that when you are hanging bunting (or taking it down) that you do so as safely as possible!

'Can I hang my bunting outside?'
Yes, but if gets wet – and you wish to use it again – please ensure it has dried out before folding and storing it.

'How do I take my bunting down' (if I want to use it again)?

 Short lengths (1m or less)

Simply fold each flag alternately, face to face, ‘concertina-style’.

Longer lengths (more than 1m)

To avoid tangling we recommend you have a bucket to hand!

Take down one end only of the bunting and place it into the bucket. Then work your way along the run of bunting, ‘feeding’ it into your bucket as you go.

Whenever you reach the other looped end of a length, place it just over the lip of the bucket so that you don’t lose it in the bucket! If there is no more bunting to take down – or you wish to fold each length individually – you are now ready to follow the ‘short lengths’ folding guidance (above).

If you are taking down more than one length, simply place the loop at the end of the first length over the lip of the bucket so that you can easily tie the first loop of the second length of bunting to it – and continue to feed the bunting into the bucket – and repeat - until all the bunting is down and in the bucket. Then follow the ‘short length’ folding guidance.

Important: Take care not to ‘agitate’ the bunting in your bucket – otherwise, it won’t be so easy to fold! Try and allow the bunting to come out ‘just as it went in’.

'Can I return ‘standard’ bunting?'
If in the unlikely event you decide your bunting is not quite what you need - or there is a problem with your order - we ask that you get in touch straightaway so that we can resolve things quickly.

If the bunting is faulty (rare!) we can either replace it or give you a full refund.

If you wish to return the bunting because you have changed your mind – and it is returned to us in the condition it left us (ie not used or tangled) – we will refund the cost of the bunting but not the original and return postages charges.

'Can I return customised or personalised bunting?'
No, sorry – not unless it has a genuine fault.
